Parent(s) that reside with the school districts of Minster, New Bremen, New Knoxville, or Waynesfield-Goshen and desire to educate their children at home must complete a "home education notification form" annually and mail to the Auglaize County ESC.  The ESC superintendent must approve this form before the student is excused from compulsary attendance at their home school district.  This form may be printed from the link below for your convenience.  The ESC superintendent will notify parent(s) and resident school district of approval.

Home School programs must be in compliance with the Ohio Revised Code 3301-24 as approved by the Ohio State Board of Education.  These rules are available by clicking Ohio State Board of Education Rules for Home Education 

Before a student may continue home education for another academic year, the student's academic progress must be assessed by using either Option #1 - achievement testing or Option #2 - written narrative (form(s) may be printed from link below).  One option of the assessment report must be sent to the ESC superintendent along with new request for home education for the new school year before the student will be excused from compulsary attendance.
