LPDC Coordinator: Virginia McClain Contact Number: 419-738-3422 Process for Writing your IPDP A license renewal requires 18 CEU of professional activities or 6 semester hours of coursework, or any combination of the two. These CEU’s must be preplanned by writing a Professional Development Plan (IPDP) and approved by our LPDC committee. PLEASE NOTE: Any activities that happen prior to license effective date and approval of IPDP plan by local LPDC committee will not be accepted. Your building has LPDC committee members who will help you with this process. To see a list of members, click HERE. Print the following documents before writing your plan: 1. IPDP form, click HERE 2. District and School Goals: Minster New Bremen New Knoxville Waynesfield (% Required goal) Waynesfield Building, Waynesfield District . If you do not see your building, see your principal for the goals. 3. Activity Options 4. CEU Conversion Chart 5. Activity Voucher You are ready to write your plan. You may want to fill out the hard copy of the Excel/Word form before typing it into the computer. A typed version must be submitted. Page 1: Insert all current information and license information Page 2: Select two or three goals for district and building for each category. Then select two or three of your OWN personal development goals. List each goal as A.B.C. in the sections. Page 3: Using your Activity Options form, select at least 18 CEU's of professional activities or 6 semester hours of coursework, or any combination that will accomplished your chosen goals from page 2. Cross reference these activities to your goals using some sort of numbering system. (For example: 2A may represent Building Goal #1 and 3B may represent Personal Goal #2)example entry: Auglaize County In-service (five years x .6 CEU each) 1A = 3 CEU Determine if any of your activities will need pre-approval by the committee. Submit an activity voucher form with your plan to the LPDC committee.
