Meet Cindy and her staff.

At St. Marys High School, Teacher Cindy Oliver leads a dedicated team committed to supporting students with developmental disabilities through individualized, meaningful instruction. Working alongside paraprofessionals Sarah Wiechart, Tara Cox, and Mackenzie Wiechart, Cindy creates a supportive and inclusive learning environment focused on each student’s individual growth, success, and well-being.

The classroom emphasizes personalized educational strategies that encourage independence, functional skill development, communication, and social-emotional growth. Students are provided with opportunities to build practical skills, strengthen relationships, and develop greater confidence in their abilities.

Family collaboration is also an important part of the team’s approach. Through open communication and connections to helpful resources, the team works with families to support students both at school and in their homes and communities.

Together, Cindy and her team are dedicated to empowering students with the skills, confidence, and independence they need to prepare for a successful transition into adulthood and their communities.
