Turning Point Program

Turning Point is a post-secondary transition program for students ages 18 to 22 who have completed their Senior year and want to continue on with school age programming to continue to earn necessary graduation requirements and develop vocational, daily living, and recreational leisure skills.

At Turning Point we assist students in achieving their post-secondary goals in the areas of employment, education and independent living.  Through backwards planning all students and their teams create a roadmap to their desired future.  Our program supports each student’s plan through community partnerships with local employers and agencies.  Individual career goals are developed and met through job tours, weekly job placements,  job shadowing, and internships which are aligned to the student’s individualized preferences, interests, needs and strengths.
