Amy Becher is the Director of Special Education for the Auglaize County Educational Service Center, where she supports and oversees programming for school-age students. She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Dayton, a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from The Ohio State University, and additional certification in Early Childhood Special Education. Amy lives in Wapakoneta with her husband, Jeff, and they have three adult children. She enjoys walking, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

With nearly 30 years of experience in the field of special education, including 25 years as a special education administrator, Amy has made a significant impact on programming, services, and student outcomes. She is passionate about making a positive impact, deeply committed to helping students reach their full potential, and dedicated to supporting educators in delivering high-quality, individualized instruction.

Ms. Ashley Geckle is an Intervention Specialist who is excited to partner with students and families. She is passionate about getting to know each child and creating a supportive, welcoming learning environment.

Ms. Geckle holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, prior degrees in Early Childhood Education, and is a certified K–12 Intervention Specialist. This is her eigth year in education, and she looks forward to continuing her teaching journey for many years to come. She has experience working with a wide range of age groups, from infants through twelve grade, allowing her to meet students where they are and support their individual needs.

Outside of the classroom, Ms. Geckle enjoys spending time with her dog, Harley, being with family, and indulging in anything Disney. She also loves watching movies—especially psychological thrillers, swimming, and, of course, a little Amazon shopping.
