Keri Robinson is a special education teacher, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA) whose work is deeply rooted in her role as a mother and advocate. After her own children were diagnosed with severe Level 3 autism, she made the life-changing decision to go to college to better understand how to support them and other students with complex behavioral and learning needs. Through this journey, she discovered that teaching, advocacy, and behavior analysis were not only aligned with her skills but with her life’s purpose.

Keri’s passion for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) led her to earn her BCBA certification, allowing her to integrate academic instruction with behavior analytic principles in meaningful and impactful ways. She is the Director of the Compass 360 Learning Center, a public special education program created and operated by the Auglaize County Educational Service Center that provides evidence-based, ABA-informed services to students from partnering districts.

The Compass 360 Learning Center represents the program Keri wished had existed when her own sons began their educational journey—a setting built on structure, compassion, high expectations, and data-driven intervention. Her dream has always been to open her own ABA center, and through the ESC and the development of Compass 360, that dream has become a reality. Keri remains committed to expanding access to intensive behavioral services while supporting families, empowering staff, and ensuring all students have the opportunity to thrive.

My name is Angela Milner, and I am an Intervention Specialist for the Compass 360 Program at the Auglaize County ESC. I have had the privilege of working with individuals with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) for over 15 years. This work continues to be both professionally meaningful and personally rewarding.

I recently earned my master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and I am currently working toward becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). My background in ABA strongly informs my teaching practices, allowing me to design instruction that is data-driven, individualized, and focused on meaningful skill development.

What I love most about my job is the opportunity to make a real difference in my students’ lives. I find great joy in celebrating the small wins, whether that’s a student communicating a need independently, mastering a new skill, or showing growth in confidence and independence. These moments, while sometimes small to others, represent significant progress for our students and are what motivate me each day.

Hello, my name is Elaine Thompson. I am a special education teacher at ACESC and a proud 2023 graduate of Bowling Green State University. My passion in teaching centers on supporting students in building meaningful communication, independence, and functional life skills, all while tailoring instruction to meet each student’s unique strengths and needs.

At Compass 360, we utilize the ARIS curriculum, an autism-specific program designed to promote growth across academics, communication, daily living skills, and social-emotional development. I strongly value collaboration and open communication with families and team members, and I strive to create a structured, supportive, and positive learning environment where every student feels safe, valued, and empowered to succeed.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending quality time traveling and making memories with my husband.

Makynna Cease is an Intervention Specialist/RBT who is passionate about supporting students through individualized academic and behavioral interventions. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Inclusive Early Childhood Education from Bowling Green State University and went on to complete her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at Ball State University. Makynna is committed to creating positive, supportive learning environments that help students build confidence, independence, and essential life skills. She values collaboration with families and team members to ensure each student’s unique needs are met. Outside of school, Makynna enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
